We are pleased to announce our 2.5TFSI GEN1 secondary port injection systems.
We were the first to add secondary injection to 2.5TFSI, though we were never happy with the options for adding the fuel to the lower plenum. We decided to make our own. We scanned the lower plenum with our in house Romer Arm and made sure this piece is perfect, every single time. No thought has gone unnoticed on the design, from injector angle, injector choices, methanol/nitro bungs, dipstick pass through, clamping methods, etc. Every runner is machined in Las Vegas from 6061-T6 Aluminum, and has the option of being anodized. If color maters to you, we can have special colors made for more cost.
Includes OEM Fuel Rail. Available as options are injectors we use in our applications. Modern 850cc extended nozzle injectors allow the injector to point at the valves unobstructed, and give precise injecting at low pulsewidths. This is important for a system that is feathered into the existing ECU map controls. contact us if more injector is needed for high horsepower ethanol and methanol applications (1000cc, 1200cc and 1600cc injectors available on request)
The fuel rail is sourced from a Used North American 2.5 N/A engine. We clean and inspect each one. They are stainless in construction with OEM qualities. A billet Integrated Engineering rail fits as well if desired.
We have also developed a secondary fuel controller for the application. MicroSquirt makes the affordable, water resistant controller that is compact and packed full of options. We supply a harness that intercepts the engine triggers and map sensors with male/female Plug and Play connectors. This means 12v power and chassis ground is the only things required to get up and running with the software. 3 and 4 bar map sensor is configurable in software (see screen shot), and the ecu's all ship with a base map. It is the end users responsibility to add in the extra fuel needed, though any competent calibrator can easily and quickly add in the fuel needed. The ECU is capable of map select for different fuels, flex fuel sensors, and much more, though those options are not included on our base wiring harness. Fits both TTRS, RS3 and RSq3 as well as the 8v RS3. A USB to Serial adapter is required to access the maps.
The fuel tee is required to tap into the fuel line. Any 3/8ths tee will work, though our tee does include an option for 1/8NPT fitting which allows for pressure sensing that is often useful data on a high performance application.
Please allow 1-2 weeks for delivery. The wiring harness's are built to order for options and injectors. Expedite can happen based on our work load.
